UK startup Humanoid, which has developed the HMND 01 Alpha, was valued at GBP 1.35 billion in July 2026 and has trialled its technology in UK warehouse logistics. Goldman Sachs forecasts the global humanoid robot market will reach GBP 38 billion by 2035.

The regulatory picture is less advanced. Multiple analyses, including commentary from Hill Dickinson, TechUK, and Scottish Legal News, confirmed in 2026 that UK law is not yet ready for humanoid robots operating in public or domestic settings.
